Center Pottery was founded by Joan Huang. Bringing with her a background in Japanese studies and medicine, she combines her pottery expertise and healthcare experience to promote the benefits of clay, ceramics, and pottery for mental health in Singapore. Center Pottery has been featured on well-known platforms like The Straits Times, Channel 8, and SG Cares Carnival 2018. One can find workshops for pottery at 3Arts, a ceramic studio where experienced trainers like Master Potter Tom who has over 20 years of experience in pottery, conduct classes. With these creative workshops, they hope to build and grow a community of potters who share a common love for craft even though they might come from different walks of life.
