A long standing hawker stall, Nam Heng Chicken Rice settles among other newer stalls in Ayer Rajah as a family business run by the original owner's son. The Hainanese chicken rice stall follows a recipe handed down three generations and features steamed and roasted chicken, char siew (barbecued pork), and siu yok (roasted pork), all of which are typically served with soup, vegetables, condiments, and oil rice drizzled with their special sauce concoction.
