At New Hope Community Services, the organisation has a goal of going beyond providing temporary shelter to those in need. This community centre offers services such as shelter for displaced families and individuals, shelter for men, Hope Scheme, Music Mentorship Programme, and more. Pastor Andrew Khoo started this community when 4 men and a family with 2 children approached him seeking shelter in 2003. This was a start to a dream come true - to start a Volunteer Welfare Organisation (VWO) that serves a practical need in Singapore. The team is motivated by the love of God and the conviction that the church needs to stay relevant to the needs of the community. They seek to provide more than just temporary shelter, as they provide for those in need and instil hope in them to see their lives being changed.
