Founded by Daniel Tay, a renowned Singaporean pastry chef, Old Seng Choong was named after Seng Choong Confectionary which was established and run by Daniel Tay’s parents for over 30 years. Old Seng Choong offers a variety of traditional local baked goods, festive treats for Mooncake festival and Chinese New Year, and cakes - suitable for celebrating joyous occasions or just as an indulgent treat for oneself. One can try cookies baked in unique local flavours such as bak kut teh, gula melaka, and satay or savour cakes such as their original butter cake or red dates and walnut butter cake.
