The humble beginnings of Sandai Izakaya dates back to 1971, when the owner opened a small Chinese restaurant in Osaka. The local Gyoza chef Mr Kenzo Nishi aspired to only create quality gyozas. He opened his very first gyoza restaurant “Chao Chao 1st shop” in Osaka and since then, he has been spreading his delightful gyozas to different areas of Japan, and now even Hong Kong Philippines, and Singapore. Fuelled by the motivation of serving gyozas with great customer service and passion, Sandai Izakaya seeks to bring a whole new meaning to this well-loved Japanese snack.
